Established in 1995 and now under new ownership, Kiama Charter Service has been taking fishing enthusiasts out of Kiama Harbour for over 30 years aboard MV Kostalota — a 12-metre, fully licensed and AMSA-surveyed charter vessel with plenty of deck room for a full group.
Under new management since 2025, the same trusted experience continues. Our Masters qualified skipper is accompanied by a deckhand who handles fish cleaning, line untangling, and keeping everyone comfortable. No fishing licence required — Kiama Charter Service holds all the relevant approvals so you can simply show up and fish.
And yes — the famous Anzac biscuits still come with every morning tea. Some guests say that alone is worth the trip.

Year Round
Head out to the reefs within 15km of Kiama Harbour, fishing in up to 140 metres of water. Target snapper, morwong, ocean leatherjackets, flathead, and other prized bottom-dwelling species. Perfect for groups, families, and first-timers.
May–September
Venture 30km offshore to the continental shelf for a serious deep water experience. Target Blue Eye Trevalla and Gemfish — among the most prized eating fish in Australia. Boat bookings only for this trip.
